Joes Guide To Abide By If Searching For Outdoor Candle Lanterns

Candle lamps and lanterns suspended within your yard or garden add a glow that might enhance the area of your out of doors living space. You can suspend candle lamps from tree branches plus shepherd’s hooks with hooks created from craft wire, combined with chains and some different supplies from your local hardware store. Dot your landscape with outside candle lamps hanging throughout your yard.

Measure the height of your candle lamp from the bottom to the top. Measure the width of your candle lamp across the base. Double the height measurement and add the width measurement to it. Add six inches to the total to determine the length of wire you’ll need to create a hanger for the lamp.

Roughen the striking end of your hammer with sandpaper. This may help keep the hammer from slipping off of the nail head.

Put a nail on either side of the bottom of your candle lantern. Insert a nail halfway between each of the first 2 nails, if your candle base is round. If your candle base is square, place one nail in the center of all four sides. If your candle base is rectangular, insert one nail on either end. Leave a minimum of one/4-inch of each nail exposed.

Wrap 1 end of one piece of wire around one of the nails. Wrap the opposite end round the nail opposite the first. Repeat this method with the second wire strip if you’ve got four nails. You have primarily made a cage with the craft wire so you are able to suspend your candle lamps.

Hook a small S-hook at the top of the candle lamp where the wires cross. Wrap a length of small chain around a tree branch and attach it with the S-hook to suspend your outdoor candle lanterns from a tree.

attach a bigger S-hook plant hanger at the high of the candle where the wires cross. Hook the different finish of the plant hanger over a shepherd’s hook within your garden
