How To Make Your Home Brighter
We pay out all this money to live in our homes but is it just a house or apartment in a building or is it somewhere we can really relax, do you not want your friends to walk into your home and ask how you got it looking so good or where you got that lampshade from? These tips can help you out and it need not cost you a fortune!
Remember that even though you may like the colors or you have wonderfully gorgeous wall paper hanging on your walls you can always go that one step further by having some lovely accessories dotted around to give it that edge.
The kitchen really is the social hub of most homes, we cook, eat and talk and many people often say that their house party ends up in the kitchen so why not make it look amazing and be the envy of all your friends! Little changes like using a nice looking knife block set or juicer can make all the difference to the look of your kitchen.
Other appliances like a kitchen aid hand mixer out on display can look stunning especially with the correct lighting bouncing of it. The worktop surfaces also can make your units look amazing and if you can’t afford to get a new kitchen then new doors will work just as well or even just change the handles!
No matter if you have lovely crockery or knife sets you can make your kitchen look amazing. But what about the bedroom, what kind of style do you want? Calm and soothing, simple and minimalist or maybe you want it fiery and passionate?
Think about how you want it to make you feel if you like it to relax then nice calming oranges or blues will do the trick for a more sexier look then red is certainly the way to go and for a more modern twist then simple tones like magnolia are your friend.
Now that you have the colors in mind you can add little items or ornaments maybe even personal souvenirs that you have collected to just give the room that extra personal touch, they don’t have to be time consuming or expensive to implement.
And never forget the entrance to your home, if its a small hall way or a grand entrance always make sure it is light, bright, clean and clutter free, after all you don’t want to have to make it difficult for someone to get into your home even if they have been invited!
